Customer Service Specialist

A World Class manufacturing and distribution company located in Muscle Shoals, AL has an immediate need for a Customer Service Representative.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Interaction with customers via phone, fax, e-mail, or internet to receive and process purchase orders, release schedules, notice of concerns, or quote requests
  • Complete and maintain documentation in order to route all types of customer inquiries for part quality, on time delivery, invoicing, etc. to designated departments for investigation and closure.
  • Adhere to all customer service policies and procedures in order to maintain the company's quality system.
  • Assist other customer service specialists with departmental workflow as needed and forward any unique customer issues to the customer service manager in order to determine an appropriate course of action.
  • Assist the customer service manager with customer service specialist training as needed.
 
Education and/or Experience:     
  • Must have good computer skills, including Word & Excel and good verbal & written communication skills. 
  • Minimum two years Account Management or Customer Service experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment required.
  • Associate’s degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
