Dynamic, rapidly-growing and fiscally strong U.S. based global manufacturer and distributor has a unique opportunity for an Associate General Counsel of a company experiencing accelerating growth.

As a key member of the Corporate Legal team, the Associate General Counsel should be a bright, energetic, business-minded and self-motivated transactional attorney with 5-10 years of general corporate, commercial, M&A, and transactional experience, preferably in-house.  General commercial counseling experience a strong plus.  In this position, the successful candidate will interface with our senior executive team and business teams to execute on the organization’s strategic priorities.

This position will report directly to, and work closely with, the Vice President/General Counsel to provide general corporate counseling to the Company’s corporate functions, commercial counseling to the Company’ business operations, litigation management and execution of all aspects of mergers and acquisitions.    

The position is based at the corporate headquarters in Naples, Florida but will require travel as necessary in connection with duties.

Successful Candidate Requirements
·         BA/BS and JD Degrees required from an accredited institution
·         5 - 10 years of law firm and/or significant in-house experience
·         Member of at least one state bar
·         Ability to work and interact with corporate management and others at all levels
·         Demonstrated broad business orientation and ability to aggressively establish instant credibility as an imaginative, resourceful, and insightful attorney and business partner with cross-functional perspective
·         Excellent oral and written communication skills
·         Extensive commercial and transactional experience
·         Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize and organize multiple tasks simultaneously
·         Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture with a flat management structure
·         Positive, collaborative, can-do attitude
·         Results-oriented, entrepreneurial mindset, uncompromising integrity, excellent communication and leadership skills
